Welcome to Grace and Thanks! I’m so glad you are here. My hope is that this website brings you encouragement and inspiration in keeping your home and loving on your family. I want to honor the traditions and ways of our grandmothers and mamas. I also want to offer other ways to do things with the modern conveniences available to us as women in our time.
I have been married to my husband for over a decade. Luke and I have been dating since we were babies in middle school and we haven’t stopped! Although, our dating life looks a lot different now than it did when we were young! We now have 5 extra members added to our family. My oldest is Landon, then there is Bennett, and then there are my 3 triplets: Elliott, Grace, and Asher. Our life is absolutely crazy, but we wouldn’t change it for anything. I love my kiddos so much. They add such a fun dynamic to our family. All of them are so different from each other. I look forward to sharing how I try to reach their hearts every day and how they bring such joy to my life every day.
Ever since I was a little girl, I have always wanted to be a wife, mother, teacher, and a keeper of my home. I loved learning about anything to do with homemaking: cleaning, organizing, cooking, baking, gardening, entertaining, and decorating. I can’t say that I have mastered any of those interests, but they drive me to become a better homemaker. I love learning about the latest in cooking trends and how to creatively organize with items available in my home. I love learning from the greatest homemakers (my mama and my Grandma). I love applying their teachings to my own life, but adding my own little touch with the tools that I have available.
I love having a clean and organized house. But, I want to tell you that perfection will never be found on this website (or in my house)! Know that behind every “perfect” picture, there is an imperfect house. I have imperfect children, an imperfect husband, and I am the chief of imperfection. You will find some helpful and useful things on this website, but know that my heart is genuine in sharing that I do not have it all figured out. I have some great ideas and helpful tips, but my house rarely looks put together. I have 5 children that are 6 and under, with three of them being babies! Our house is always in survival mode, but we do survive!
Thank you for joining me on this journey of homemaking. I invite you to sign up for my newsletter so you can be updated with all of the latest content. If you would like to contact me, you can do so on my Contact Me page. I look forward to hearing from you!
